Hi Priyamvada and Zahabiya: it's good to know that you are also from Houston. This stall was at Stuebner Airlines road and Spring Cypress Road intersection in Spring area. If you are on the hunt for those tasty mangoes, check out Canino wholesale market ( directions and details in Weekend Houston archives). We are also planning to go there for mangoes sometime this month.

The mangoes are a Mexican import and sold here under the name “Champagne Mangoes”. Yellow, sweet and with mango scent, very India like.

Narayan: Miss those banginapally mangoes.
Haven’t heard about this book. Will look for it at local library.
