Wow so beautiful, love the colour, do you cut them for the house? I always find it hard to cut flowers from the garden think they look better outside, and end up buying them for the house..

Only when they are abundant. I agree, it’s hard to separate those beautiful flowers from plants.:)

So beautiful and bountiful. Like i mentioned a while ago, I have to make do with a window sill garden in a Mumbai apartment; and i have a similar variety of rose; though, in a pot, it does not flower in such a flourish. But I am happy with it, it keeps on flowering – has been for the past 5-6 months now.

Indira, apart from your flair for cooking, you have green thumbs as well. Keep it up.

I just happened to see these in the Livermore Shiva Vishnu temple in California last week. So beautiful, full of bloom.

  11. Glad to see your garden postings again. Yes my question would be what is in the soil or is there such a thing as a green thumb?

    Hi Indira,
This is the first time I am writing a comment in your blog. I usually never write any comments.
I work as S/W analyst. I like your blog. Mostly I like the mind behind all of it.
Whenever I am stressed out with my work, I immediately open your website, read an article or see some pics,
and close it. It makes me feel good.
I often wonder how one person can be a combination of somany beautiful things? How one can put
    somuch into practice?
You are everything that I want to be, and want to do.
One day I hope to retire and make ‘home as a hobby’ which I truly love.
It’s a beatiful rose plant..sorry tree :-). have never seen anything like it before.
    Thanks alot.
    Regards
    Lakshmi

    Happy Diwali to you!
You have a beautiful garden. I live in Houston too but, haven’t been able to garden successfully. Can you do a gardening 101 type post? Especially one for vegetables would help out amateur gardeners like me who want to grow vegetables organically but haven’t had much success.
