Drool. That all sounds delicious. I think I'll trade. We had vegetarian lasagna, mashed potatoes and hot slaw.
Plus, of course, pies.

Christmas for us was spent in Dubai with friends. We went out for dinner to a local park and had a barbeque dinner by the CReek.

Food was - snacks - mixed bhujia from India. Samosas from Puranmal. Tea from a local kiosk in the park.

Dinner - the non-veggies had lamb chops, tandoori chicken, chicken sausages.

Veggies had - jacket potatoes stuffed with dill butter; smoked sweet potatoes, grilled paneer; and toasted chestnuts.

Everyone then had parathas - kokis, methi, aloo, mooli (all from a local store, heated on the coal fires.

Lots of laughs, masti and fun with friends and their families and wonderful cool weather under the stars.

Indira,

I've hardly hosted any parties - you can count the number of parties that I gave, in one hand easily. :) I hope to change this!!

Love the part favors in your menu. I think I will host some parties just so that I can stash a bunch of those party favors for myself. :)

Malai kofta sounds wonderful, Indira!
For our last dinner party I went all out with the appetizers--samosa and reshmi kababs + chutney dip for toasted bread. The main course was Chicken biryani, raita and spinach paratha. Dessert was ras malai. All home made. :)

I love your menu series....
Happy holidays!
