Thanks all for your appreciative notes.

Usha: It was my pleasure. Happy to read you and family enjoyed the harvest.:)

Irfana: Methi(fenugreek) plants after flowering produce thin pods about little finger length each, about 4 to 6 pods per plant. Each pod contains methi(fenugreek seeds) about 10 to 12 in a row (like peas in a pod). If you leave them on the plant, the seeds get big and the pods mature and then dry. You can shell the pods and harvest the dried methi seeds. You can add in cooking or for planting next batch of methi.

Sri: compost and cow manure - that's the fertilizer I use for vegetable growing.

Narayan: Thanks all for your comments!
Tomatillos belong to the same family as tomatoes, and are from Mexico/Aztech region. They are green, unripe tomato like vegetable enclosed in a husk. The husk that holds the fruit is paper-like and is light brown, we have to discard the husk. Tomatillo flesh is slightly acidic with a hint of lemon, tastes great in our dal, thohayals and also in salsa.

Lovely. I can't even begin to tell you how much we liked your tomatoes . There are still a few left and don't have the heart to cook it. My MIL is completely bowled over by the tomatoes. Am going to make chutney out of the tomatillos. Thanks for sharing all your veggies with us. May you have many more bountiful years.
