Weekend Kittaya

Kittaya drinking water from the fountain
Kittaya’s Early Morning Rountine

This pagoda water fountain is a decorative item in our front room. Now it has become Kittaya’s dedicated water fountain. He seems to enjoy drinking from the fountain all the time. It is always a great sight to watch him drinking from the flowing water so peacefully, particularly during mornings when sunlight falls on him through the window.

    Dear Indira,

Congratulations on your new homes, the bricks & mortar as well as ether ones!

It is heartwarming seeing your garden, the fruit trees, herb garden and vegetable gardens. You are living out my dream!

I loved the panel on the left side of your old site, which categorized Indian and western veggies, do you plan to build one here as well?

I have read somewhere that kitties love running water. Your dear kittaya will never cease to surprise and delight 🙂

Indira I have been speechless gazing at your beautiful garden photos. Let me simply say, I am *so* happy for you!

Indira, at least I know now that my Chloe is normal as she does exactly the same as Kittaya drink from the indoor water fountain that I have in the conservertory.

Thanks Roma, Cilantro, Vishali and Vineela.

Thanks for the good words Anu. Appreciate that.
About the categories, not as elaborate as that, but I will certainly make it easy to search.

Thanks Linda. I have learned from master gardeners like you and ISG.:)

Congratulations on your new blog Arch. Looking forward to reading delicious recipes there.

Trupti: particularly when kittaya drinks from it. He closes his eyes and goes into transe or something.:)

Ranjan: natural instinct I guess, for them. Love to see a photo of Chloe. I will publish it along with Kittaya’s photo.:)

We think so too. Thanks Arundathi and Sudha.

Glad Kittaya is enjoying his drink.. He feels so much at home in your new house…

Of course Kittaya is a gorgeous cat and would look beautiful in any picture, but this is a lovely photo. I love the way the light falls on him. If Kittaya had been the cat of one of the Dutch masters, perhaps they’d have chosen this ritual for the subject of a painting 🙂

BTW, Kittaya is a lucky fellow, he gets to drink fresh flowing water whenever he wants! Most pet cats just have a bowl of water.

Lovely picture – gorgeous cat! And wonderful blog about the goodness of life in all forms – plants, food & the home as a hobby. 🙂
Kudos to your zest for living!
