Home as a Hobby ~ Needlepoint Serenade

Magnolia Serenade ~ A Needlepoint Design
A soothing sunset serenade. That is what I had imagined when I started this needlepoint design. It took me nearly two months to complete the 16″x18″ project, and now decorates our home in a homemade frame. The pretty lady serenades us to sleep with her gentle harp playing.

Wow! very nice looking work. Is that similar to Stitch kit availabe in India ? I made similar one 10 years back which still adds beauty to our wall. Handmade such crafts add more elegance to homes than store bought one!

Its beautiful. You must be so proud. I know the feeling because i cross stitch and each finished piece (Stitched 28 large designs so far) makes me feel proud of myself. I would love to see the close up picture of your needlepoint. Is there a way i can see it. Once again, this is just beautiful. Keep it going.

Hello Indira!,
Great work! It is really wonderful! Can you tell me how you made the frame? I do a little bit of cross stitch as well and would like to know how i can get a home made frame rather than buying expensive frames.
