Home as a Hobby ~ Needlepoint Serenade
Magnolia Serenade ~ A Needlepoint Design
A soothing sunset serenade. That is what I had imagined when I started this needlepoint design. It took me nearly two months to complete the 16″x18″ project, and now decorates our home in a homemade frame. The pretty lady serenades us to sleep with her gentle harp playing.
Very beautiful, Indira.
That’s amazing Indira! Can we click on it to see a bigger image?

Beautiful work Indira.
WOW really Amazing.
Beautiful, gives a feeling of soothing times and peace.
Wow! very nice looking work. Is that similar to Stitch kit availabe in India ? I made similar one 10 years back which still adds beauty to our wall. Handmade such crafts add more elegance to homes than store bought one!
Thanks, friends for your comments.
Mamatha: Thanks. Big picture is on the email way.
Vani: Thanks. The kit is from Hobby Lobby shop. I would love to see your craft work and please do send them using Contact form on the website.
Sheba: Thanks. It is a canvas embroidery.
Nirmala: Thanks. Yes, the same.
Its beautiful. You must be so proud. I know the feeling because i cross stitch and each finished piece (Stitched 28 large designs so far) makes me feel proud of myself. I would love to see the close up picture of your needlepoint. Is there a way i can see it. Once again, this is just beautiful. Keep it going.
Just Amazing!!!
beautiful needlework! You must have a lot of patience, this work can take long. I did a cross-stitch design recently, took me 6 months to finish slowly slowly 🙂
Hello Indira!,
Great work! It is really wonderful! Can you tell me how you made the frame? I do a little bit of cross stitch as well and would like to know how i can get a home made frame rather than buying expensive frames.
